João Carlos Mateus

He has served as President of the Board of Directors at IFAP I.P., Chief of Staff to the Minister of Agriculture, and Executive Director at CEiiA. João also worked as an Economic Advisor on innovation and business at the Prime Minister’s Office and was the General Director of the Science and Technology Park of Alentejo.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Energy and Innovation and Deputy Chief of Staff for the National Coordinator of the Lisbon Strategy and Technological Plan. He began his career in multinational companies and has since been a renowned speaker in several events and conference.
