Partner at LBC in the USA, Torben has over 25 years of professional experience, including 18 years in the USA, focusing on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. He holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Edinburgh, is a Chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK and has certificates in Executive Management (Nyenrode Business School) and Series 65 (USA).

Torben leads the GSI program, taking CEOs and entrepreneurs to Silicon Valley since 2010. He has created tailored innovation programs for companies like Embraer and EDP, including meetings with Silicon Valley VCs such as Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital. He also led Portugal Ventures’ acceleration hub in San Francisco, supporting over 70 start-ups in connecting with the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Additionally, Torben has collaborated with the Innovation Team to the President of Portugal and organized official visits to California, including those of the President of Portugal and other government ministers
