Improve access to information
A Eduardo dos Santos Foundation is a private Angolan institution of social solidarity, set up to support children and young people, social integration, protection in old age and disability, promote health, education, professional training, physical education, sport and social housing. The portal developed by LBC aimed, among other objectives, at improving access to information related to the work carried out by the institution, as well as being the preferred channel of communication with the public, connecting with platforms such as social networks. It was also highly motivated to raise potential donations, partners and volunteers for FESA's work, to encourage the sharing of ideas and innovation, or even to encourage joint reflection to identify shared problems and to define the respective solutions.
Involve stakeholders
The project carried out by LBC was divided into five phases: defining the communication strategy; the creative conception and design of the portal; its development; tests and corrections; and, finally, training and content loading. And that involved getting stakeholders to participate in all stages of development; training and initial monitoring of the portal's management team; the creation of communication dynamics to mobilize the public or manage to give national and international visibility to the work of FESA.
the preferred channel
The official launch of the portal took place in July 2016, and the FESA channel on the YouTube platform (asserting itself as an instrument for disseminating and sharing information). The final product, which allows daily access by the various services, organizations and the public, discloses the events promoted by the Eduardo dos Santos Foundation, news, technical publications or magazines of the institution, among others. And it fulfills the goal of approaching different audiences, while acting as the preferred channel of communication with them.
